The Carbine shackle LED key safe (SKU: CKS-SH-DI-LED-L) is a portable, padlock-style key and access card lock box equipped with LED-illuminated combination dials for low-light and after-hours entry. Manufactured by Carbine, this carbine illuminated shackle key safe is supplied as the base unit without a lithium battery (for air-freight compliance or trade buyers supplying their own CR2032 cell).
Carbine Illuminated Shackle Key Safe Night Visibility and Card Capacity
Reading standard combination wheels in dark driveways or unlit side passages often causes entry errors. Pressing the illumination button on this led dial padlock key box lights up all four dials for clear code alignment at night. Its enlarged 65mm (W) x 29mm (D) x 80mm (H) internal cavity holds standard RFID swipe cards, vehicle fobs, and multiple keys on an integrated hook.
- Backlit LED Combination Dials: 4-dial mechanical lock (10,000 resettable codes) with push-button LED backlighting (requires 1x CR2032 battery, not included; see CKS-SH-DI-LED-L-KIT for battery-included kit).
- Portable Shackle Mounting: Hardened steel shackle loops around security grilles, gate bars, and railings without drilling into masonry.
- Weather Flip Cover & Salt Spray Rating: Integrated fold-down dial cover and 48-hour salt spray tested aluminium body (86mm x 47mm x 151mm external).

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the CKS-SH-DI-LED-L include the CR2032 battery?
No. This SKU (CKS-SH-DI-LED-L) is supplied without the CR2032 coin battery, making it ideal for air freight. Choose SKU CKS-SH-DI-LED-L-KIT if you want the battery included.
Will the mechanical lock still open if no battery is installed?
Yes. The 4-dial locking mechanism is 100% mechanical; the CR2032 battery only powers the LED dial backlight.
Does it hold credit-card-sized building swipe cards?
Yes. The 65mm x 29mm x 80mm interior chamber accommodates standard access cards and multiple keys.
