The Carbine sash window lock black (SKU: CSW-BL-C4-BP1) is a C4 key-locking sash fastener finished in matte black for double-hung and sliding windows. Manufactured by Carbine, this black sash window lock pulls the upper and lower meeting rails tightly together while deadlocking with a standard C4 house key.
Carbine Sash Window Lock Black C4 Deadlocking and Meeting-Rail Fitment
Traditional non-locking sash catches can be pried open from outside with a thin blade. The csw-bl-c4-bp1 locks the pivoting arm positively in place using Carbine’s patented C4 wafer cylinder so your windows share the same C4 key as your front door.
- Patented C4 Wafer Cylinder: Accepts standard 5-pin and 6-pin C4 house keys (supplied Keyed Alike KA1 in a retail display pack).
- Anti-Rattle Cam Action: Crescent arm pulls double-hung sashes together to eliminate draughts and rattle.
- Packing Plate Compatible: Pair with the 1mm black packing plate (CSW-BLPP) when mounting across uneven meeting rails.
